About Good Harbor Bay Trail
Good Harbor Bay Trail is a scenic 2.7-mile loop located near Cedar, Michigan, offering a peaceful mix of Lake Michigan shoreline, low coastal dunes, and wooded pathways. The trail is mostly flat and beginner-friendly, making it perfect for a leisurely hike or nature walk.
Near the trailhead, you’ll find beach access, a picnic area, and the chance to enjoy views of Little Traverse Lake and Good Harbor Bay. As the path winds inland, it transitions into quiet forest and wetland areas, where wildlife sightings are common.
* Leashed dogs are welcome on the trail, as long as owners clean up after their pets, making this a wonderful spot to explore with your four-legged friend.
