TART Trail

The TART Trail, which stands for Traverse Area Recreation Trail, is a paved urban transportation and recreation corridor that spans 10.5 miles long. The eastern end of this trail is located on M-72/Bates Rd in Acme Township, while the western end is on Carter Rd in Traverse City. This trail is super unique because it connects many neighborhoods, shops, restaurants, recreation areas, and even other trails! There are four trailheads for parking along the trail at Cherry Bend Rd, Fouch Rd, Shady Lane and 4th St in Suttons Bay.
